Looking for a clear definition of a crossed-control stall?

My book is not very specific on what this means, any CFIs out there with a clear answer?Looking for a clear definition of a crossed-control stall?
simply put it means a stall with the flight controls improperly co-ordinated. In a normal turn you will have aileron %26amp; rudder applied in the same direction (co-ordinated, the ball in the turn co-ordinator will be centred). If you apply opposite rudder to the direction of turn you are ';cross-controlled';. When you slip the aircraft either to lose altitude or in a cross-wind landing, you are deliberately cross-controlling the airplane - it's not a problem as long as you don't stall the airplane - then you will risk a spin!
