Someone who has a compulsive need to control all aspects of his or her own life, such that he or she often views others (particularly those closest) as attempting to control or impose upon his or her life. A control freak ends up trying to control not only his or her own life, but also that of others. Controlling his or her own life is the primary goal, while attempting to control others' lives is simply a protective measure. If they are not in control, they panic and grow angry and aloof. They have the it's-my-way-or-the-highway philosophy. In love relationships, a control freak often tries to control his/her partner out of insecurity and lack of trust.What is your definition of a control freak?
someone who has no concern for the other persons feeling in the relationship. One who feels that unless they are in charge that whatever the situation will unravel and not workout.
Someone one who feels they have to have last say, be informed on everything or have a majority opinion about every topic or else make life hell for everyone involved.
