What are the definitions of Treatment,Investigative question, and experimental controlled?

Im doing a review sheet and I was wondering what is the definition of treatment,investigative question, and experimental controlled? I cant find it anywere! Please help :-)What are the definitions of Treatment,Investigative question, and experimental controlled?

Treatment refers to a certain condition they and trying to find better treatments for....some are experimental drugs not approved by the FDA...and they pay people to take it...some get the new med..some get a sugar pill...and that's how they figure out if it works...but..they put a lot out b-4 they know the risks
