technically you cant really completely control crime. though you can manage it. by making arrests and traffic stops you are making it known that crime will not be tolerated in your area. therefore making it less likely for people to become repeat offenders. you can incarcerate head drug and illegal weapons dealers and make it harder for people to come by these things. its what my friends and i like to call 'crime management.'What is the definition of crime control?
